Ibrahim and the Fire

Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.)

Prophet Ibrahim (a.s.) knew that only Allah should be worshipped. The people around him bowed to statues. Ibrahim smashed the statues to show they could not even help themselves.

The king was angry and threw Ibrahim into a fire. Allah said to the fire, "Be cool and safe for Ibrahim." The fire did not burn him.

Later Ibrahim was ready to give what he loved most for Allah, and Allah sent a ram instead. That trust is why we remember Eid al-Adha.
Today’s lesson. Tawakkul means we try our best and trust Allah with the rest.
